The sound is great, even with our the resonators it's a awesome sounding insturment. When you get towards the higer octaves however, it tends not to project as much. I usually have to use hard phenolic mallets on the instruement. after 40 some years, the xylophone is still in tune.

Comments:
| We had a spill where the xylophone got nocked off a cart and hit the ground and meerly shattered. The plastic was extremely cheap! WE didn't expect it to break quite so easily. We had to bolt it back together, which was a hard job as well. The frame is not height-adjustable either.

| Looks professional. Resonators can dent easily, though.

| i was happy that it held of for a number of years, but i wouldn't recommend using this instrument in any type of marching band or pit activity, with out the marching carts they now have for them. The frame is just too unsturdy, however the istrument is great for indoor use.
