| The frame is still in good condition, but several of the bumpers are missing. My parents bought this in 1969 from a widower whose wife played; not sure if she was the original owner. Always found it difficult to move; comes apart in a minimum of 14 parts plus keys. I used it as a child (from age 9) to play for 'music lessons'. Played it on occasion at church and other venues but not consistently for many years.

| Frame needs polishing; resonators not dinted; bars in great shape.

| Have always enjoyed the marimba for personal use only; family has enjoyed it as our four children were growing up. Because of difficulty in transporting it, I would recommend it for recreational or practice use; maybe could be used in a church or permanent band or orchestra.
