The sound and tone quality achieved from this instrument is great. The consistency from high to low range is awesome as well. The instruments projection is great in all ranges, but must be carefully played in the lower range as to not produce an undesirable sound. We had issue with an out-of-wack low A, but it was easily taken care of throught the company, and a new one was sent immedietly (put on the instrument by Mark Ford himself!).

| After playing on our schools Musser instruments for so long, it was an absolute treat to play on the Dynasty instrument. There is no rattle in any part of the instrument, the casters are great and move very easily, and the neumatic height adjustment makes it easy to move up and down, no need to use pvc pipes or 2x4's again! This Rosewood marimba is great all-around.

| We have close ties to the Dynasty Corporation, and have had several of their associates to our school for clinics and demonstrations. Mark Reynolds of Dynasty worked with us a great deal in making sure we were happy with the instrument, as well as helping us acquire a full line of Dynasty Marching drums. We had the opportunity to have Mark Ford highlight our annual Day of Percussion. There's nothing better than watching a signature artist play on his own signature marimba!

| We all enjoy and love this instrument. It's used mostly for the standard college-level repetoire. Goldenberg, Zivkovic, Abe, the norm. This instrument is probably more apt for the university setting, in terms of care and maintnance, as opposed to a bunch of restless high school students. But by no means is it ONLY for university students. A responsible, well-educated high school can reap the rewards of such an awesome instrument.
