This instrument sounds great in all ranges, projects well, and each bar is in tune. It's not wood (fiberglass) but it sounds like it is.

| The frame is solid, and resonators are easily removed. In fact, when you're moving the instrument around, the resonators will sometimes fall out on their own! It doesn't rattle unless one of the wing-nuts is loose, and they are easily tightened. The bars are all the same size, fiberglass. I haven't transported it more than a couple of times a year since I bought it 6 years ago but it seems quite sturdy. The only difficulty is that carrying the instrument with its legs folded underneath is awkward, even for two people, though it's not very heavy. Maybe it needs some kind of strap to keep the legs from swinging out.

| It's quite attractive, especially the wood frame that the bars rest on.

| I haven't contacted the factory. Note: I couldn't read the model or serial number on the ID tag. It looks totally blank where those numbers/letters should be.

| If I had to replace this instrument, I would look for exactly the same thing!
