Sound & Tone
Rating: 9
Comments: The sound and tone of this instrument is smooth and rich. It is a dream to play with full aluminum resonators. There is one note that is slightly off (dry environment), but it relaxes to it's native note when oiled regularly (once/yr). It is very easy to get a perfect note to sound, very consistent, very sensitive with excellent sound with every type of mallet and pressure used. It is always a pleasure to play.
Design & Construction
Rating: 10
Comments: There is a solid frame with castors for easy movement. Transport is a cinch as it is quickly and easily disassembled and reassembled. There are no rattles. The bars are graduated in width and length. The rosewood keys are in excellent condition with no scratches or nicks.

Comments: Very happy with instrument so far; Well suited for a professional or university. Too nice for a public school. Would buy again, but would want a few extra bars on low end!
